Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability

These Terms and Conditions apply to every purchase agreement between the Seller and a Consumer concluded through the Website. Dutch law governs all agreements regardless of the country from which the order is placed.

2. Product Information

The Book is printed in full colour, double sided, on 135 gsm high quality paper. The Seller aims to ensure that all product descriptions and images on the Website are accurate. Minor differences in colour or appearance may arise due to printing or display variations.

3. Prices

All prices displayed on the Website include Dutch VAT and exclude shipping costs unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown during checkout before the Consumer completes the order. Prices may be adjusted at any time, although not after the Seller has confirmed the order.

4. Formation of the Contract

A purchase agreement is concluded when the Consumer completes the checkout process and receives an order confirmation by email. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order in cases of obvious error or reasonable suspicion of misuse.

5. Payment

Payment must be made through one of the payment methods offered on the Website. These methods include iDEAL, Bancontact, PayPal, credit card payments and any other payment options supported by the Seller’s payment provider.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the Consumer during checkout. The Seller aims to dispatch orders within a reasonable number of working days after receipt of payment. Delivery times depend on the destination country and the performance of the carrier. The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs procedures or events outside the Seller’s control. Risk transfers to the Consumer once the Book has been physically delivered.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Under Dutch and EU consumer law the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days after receiving the Book. The Consumer is not required to provide a reason for withdrawal.

To exercise this right the Consumer must notify the Seller in writing. Email is sufficient. The Consumer must return the Book within fourteen days after the withdrawal notification. The Book must remain unused, undamaged and in its original condition.

Refunds

The Seller refunds the purchase price including the original standard shipping costs. Return shipping costs are borne by the Consumer. The refund is processed within fourteen days after the Seller has received the returned Book.

8. Exclusions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• digital publications once delivered
• Books returned in used or damaged condition that prevents resale

9. Complaints

Complaints may be submitted by email using the contact details mentioned in Article 1. The Seller responds within fourteen days. If a complaint cannot be resolved the Consumer may appeal to the Dutch consumer dispute authorities or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

10. Liability

The Seller’s liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price of the Book. The Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Privacy

Personal data are processed in accordance with the Seller’s Privacy Policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All agreements are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court or, where applicable, to the court in the district where the Consumer resides.

13. Amendments

The Seller may amend these Terms and Conditions. The version published on the Website at the time of purchase applies to that order.

Privacy Policy

1. Personal Data We Collect

We process the following categories of personal data when you place an order or use the Website:

• Name and address details
• Email address
• Billing and shipping address
• Order details
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider)
• IP address and browser data

2. Purposes and Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• To process and ship your order
• To provide customer service
• To comply with legal and tax obligations
• To secure and improve the Website

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interest of operating a secure webshop.

3. Payment Providers

Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. The Seller does not store complete payment card information. Mollie may process personal data according to its own Privacy Policy.

4. Shipping Providers

To deliver your order we share your name and address with our shipping partners such as PostNL or MyParcel.

5. Retention Periods

We retain your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes listed above or as required by Dutch tax law (usually seven years).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request correction or deletion
• Request restriction of processing
• Object to processing
• Data portability

Shipping and Returns Policy

1. Shipping

Orders are shipped from the Netherlands to the address provided during checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within a reasonable number of working days after receiving payment. Delivery times depend on the destination country and the performance of the carrier.

Shipping costs are shown during checkout before you complete your order.

2. Delivery

Risk transfers to the Consumer once the Book has been physically delivered. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control.

3. Returns

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days after receiving the Book. You do not need to provide a reason.

How to return a product

1. Notify us in writing via email at erik@puik.com within fourteen days after receiving the Book.
2. Return the Book within fourteen days after your notification.
3. Return the Book unused, undamaged and in its original condition.

Return shipping costs are paid by the Consumer.

4. Refunds

Once we receive the returned Book we refund the purchase price including the original standard shipping cost. Refunds are processed within fourteen days after receipt of the returned Book.
